Dr Constantinos Anastassiades is a Senior Consultant in the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, National University Hospital, Singapore.

He obtained his medical degree from the University of London, United Kingdom. He completed his specialization in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Advanced Endoscopy in the United States, where he worked as an Attending Physician and Assistant Professor of Medicine before relocating to Singapore in 2014.

His clinical and research interests are in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, GI cancer, and endoscopic training. He has led initiatives for the development of high-quality manpower and advanced endoscopy skillsets for gastroenterologists and surgeons to meet clinical service needs in the public healthcare in Singapore. Prior to joining National University Hospital, he was Head of the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore.

He has served as faculty in national and international conferences and also in endoscopy training courses in the United States organized by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He holds Board Certifications in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board. He is Fellow of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, American College of Physicians, and Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
