Dr. Ennaliza Salazar is a Consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Singapore General Hospital since 2019. She holds an MBCHB degree and an MRCP designation. In addition to her role as a consultant, she serves as the Director of the Nutrition Support Service at the same hospital since 2016.
Dr. Salazar received several notable awards throughout her career, including the Duke Elder Award in Ophthalmology in 2007, the Singhealth Best Junior Resident Award in 2013, and the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) award in 2018, which allowed her to gain valuable experience in clinical nutrition at Toronto General Hospital. She was also recognized with the Singhealth Service with a Heart Award in 2019 and the Singhealth Long Service Award in 2021. Dr. Salazar’s commitment to research and innovation is evident through her receipt of the National Centre of Infectious Disease Grant in 2021.
She obtained her medical degree from the University of Edinburgh in 2008 and is licensed by the Singapore Medical Council since May 2010. Dr. Ennaliza Salazar has made significant contributions to the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, demonstrating her dedication to improving patient care and advancing medical knowledge.
