Dr Malcolm Tan

Dr Malcolm Tan graduated from National University of Singapore, Faculty of Medicine in 2005 with MBBS (Singapore). He attained MRCP (UK) and Master of Medicine (Singapore) in 2010. He completed specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2015 and was awarded with a Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) programme. From 2015 and 2016, he completed an Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Fellowship at the renowned John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University Hospital in Oxford under the mentorship of Professors Simon Travis and Satish Keshav.
He is also keenly involved medical education, a clinical senior lecturer for Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. His past and present appointments include being an Assistant Programme Director for the Singhealth Junior Residency Programme for Internal Medicine, Faculty in Singhealth Gastroenterology Senior Residency Programme and is on the Joint Committee on Specialist Training (Gastroenterology) Exit Examination Committee.
He actively participates in teaching medical ethics to specialist trainees, under the auspices of for Singapore Medical Association Centre for Medical Ethics & Professionalism.
