Ms Lilian Yew
Ms. Lilian Yew, an ICU-trained nurse with more than 26 years of experience. She is a strong believer of lifelong learning and leads by example. She continually upgrades her skills and knowledge in her field of expertise via attending courses, seminars and workshops. She was awarded the Postgraduate Health Science Scholarship (University Of Sydney) to pursue her Master in Health Science (Management) from 2003-2005.
As a Chief Nurse at Raffles Hospital, Ms. Lilian Yew identifies and articulates the vision and strategic direction for the discipline of Nursing and collaborates on the implementation of strategies to achieve them. She provides direction, framework and organization to achieve the highest professional standards and quality goals for all aspects of nursing education and development. She provides leadership at the hospital-level for professional development and education and ensures optimal use of resources. She develops and implements an educational programme to attract and retain essential skills, and to motivate staff to bring out the best in them and contribute to organizational goals.
