Shu holds a Master degree in Education from Queen Margaret University, Scotland and Bachelor of Science (nursing) from Curtin University, Australia. She attain advance diploma in emergency medicine from National University Healthcare System. Her professional certifications include diploma in adult and continuing education (DACE) and she is a member of Singapore nursing board.
Shu joined Parkway College in 2015 and is a qualified nursing lecturer. She brought with her an extensive teaching and institutional-related strategic leadership experiences from National University Healthcare system and Raffles hospital. She has also brought with her, decade of clinical experiences based on the various sub specialties in the renowned National University Hospital; including but not limited to emergency medicine as well as adult (medical/surgical) and pediatric (medical).
She is not only experienced in dealing with health care workers in clinical area but also has experience in delivering lectures to non-medical university students. She is able to customize the teaching curriculum for organizational expertise. Shu’s external work extends to conducting WDA certified courses for healthcare care assistant, health attendant and therapy assistant. Shu also involve in quality improvement rounds and education sessions for nurses in Myanmar.
