Prof. Fock is a Adj Professor of Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore and Clinical Professor, Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He has been Master Academy of Medicine (2008 – 2010). He was also Chairman of the Medical Board of Changi General Hospital (1999 – 2007). He has been President (2010 – 2014) and Current Board Member of Asia Pacific Digestive Week Federation (APDWF) and Counselor of APSDE.
Prof. Fock has authored more than 180 papers and presented at numerous Gastroenterology conferences/seminars. His research interests include H-pylori, GERD, gastric cancer, functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel disease and has several consensus on H.Pylori Infection, Gastric Cancer and GERD. Prof Fock was named Outstanding Reviewer for GIE in 2015 – 2018.
Prof Fock has been a Visiting Professor at University of Arizona School of Medicine, Tuscon, USA in 2007 and University of Utah School of Medicine, Utah, USA in 2003. Prof Fock has fellowships at the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG) and American Gastroenterology Association (AGA) as well as American College of Physicians (FACP) and Royal College of Physicians (FRCP – London & Edinburgh).
